A to Z -Maggie

A to Z
All I want for Christmas is camp.
Back at home, back at that barn.
Cost is high, budgets are low
Ditch the material gifts at the door
Everything I can ever want is back there.
Foolishly I ask for nothing
Gathering with fellow ranchers
Hoping for the 2016 ranch family
Insisting on all summer
Joyous as we scavenge for pennies
Kayak, canoeing, boating
Laughing at the lake
Memories, that's all that's on my list
Nothing more than adventure
Oopportunity to lead
Princess, a summer of riding
Queen of the barn
Ready to return
Summer of a lifetime
Truthfully I am camp sick
Unhappy when away,
Varrying ideas of home
Worrying about money
X-ing out the days on my calendar
Yearlings I long to care for
Zooming through the months until camp.

  1. I liked how you narrowed down your topics to focus on something you really love. Not only is that more challenging, but more interesting to your audiences.

  2. Yes, I totally agree with Kevin that I think it is cool you focused on one passion. I hope you get this Christmas wish! I agree that memories and adventures are more valuable than things, which you express here. My constructive comments is that you have two misspellings and that if you keep the lines all closer in length the flow will be more even.
